A journey of renewal

Getting to Namena used to be a problem. You had to take a small regularly scheduled commercial carrier for a one hour flight from Nadi followed by moving your luggage to the boat launch in Savusavu and then a one to two hour boat ride to the island. Your travel from Nadi to Namena basically used up a day of your vacation and there was always some concern that you may have rough seas and miss your return flight. To help you maximize your time and add some excitement to your vacation, you will now be met at the airport in Nadi with our helicopter crew and fly directly to Namena. The one hour trip flys over the Fiji country side for 30 minutes and then flies over the ocean and several islands. The flight allows you to take a breathtaking view of Fiji. The flight takes about 50 minutes and the helicopter is a 6 passenger EC130.

NAMENA scuba diving is rated the best in Fiji. Grand Central station is rated as the best dive in Fiji. Our other dives collectively are ranked number 7. We have a total of 24 dive sites at NAMENA. With the use of the helicopter, we will try to offer an amazing 6 DIVE , 2 day package which will consist of Namena’s Grand Central Station, Manta Mount, and Chimneys combined with 3 famous dives at Tavenue consisting of the famous Rainbow Reef, White Wall and Cabbage Patch. These 6 dives over two days will definitely be some of your most memorable dives of your life. For snorkellers, we offer free daily excursions to many dive sites that host a huge variety of fish and soft coral.

We have a great beach that is protected by 2 coral reefs. You can spend hours bumping up and down in pleasant waves in 80 degree water. You may be the only one in the water………that’s an amazing experience.

When Robinson Cruso was ship wrecked on an island you will know how he felt. No cars, no cops, no bad people. Safe and tranquil. A few golf carts for the cleaning staff and to assist with baggage to and from the hanger. The diving takes place on the jetty side requiring you to walk for 5 minutes to the other side of the island. We find most visitors actually get in better shape as a result of these walks.

Namena Beach Resort
A Living Sanctuary

The resort boasts one swimming pool on each side of the island and a soaker tub at the top of the resort that is reserved for adults only after 4. The resort also provides child services and special unit that has an activity center and also a sleeping area. It is equipped with air conditioning and fans and is located right on the beach.

The new clubhouse has a bar and dining area. Breakfast and lunch are alacarte and dinner is reserved in the morning. A swimming pool is located at the clubhouse. Local nightly entertainment is enjoyed by all.

Namena boasts 4 dive boats so divers can be divided depending on skill levels and desires.
